Smoke inhalation is also dangerous. I guess you don't care how long you have on this earth. Housr removals are not always easy, especially trying to climb down stairs carry a body on a stretcher.

Go to medical examiners to pick up a body and smell the decomposition of flesh. Handle all kinds of bodies. You don't know what the real cause of death was.

Embalming fluids make the preparation room stink. You take this into your lungs.

Horrible job. Blood coming out of a casket, but it can happen. I experience it on my job as an embalmer. The odors are terrible. So. You just think it is a desk job. Think again, buddy.

If on the floor a clam shell is used.2 people required..if on a bed .just pull onto a gurney.with the bottom sheet..one person required. (For removal of a deceased person)

BET ALOT "WON'T" SPEND THE FEW HUNDRED $ TO BUY THEM..LETS FIND OUT.. i VISITED MY DAD AT HIS NH AND FOUND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH FIRE ESTINGQISHERS.. SO i BOUGHT 15 OF THEM, ONE FOR EACH ROOM, COST ME ? $375 + TAX AND TAX DEDUCTABLE.. THEN GOT THE 2 OWNERS IN TROUBLE WITH THE COUNTY AND fIRE DEPT AND FINED $2,500! I always give a $5 tip to the staff when I visit and $20 after they are gone.. and a Mixed box of cholates and bring flowers once a week for the Nurses station.. My 87 yr old Dad was treated like Roralty! Yiur give a Gratutity to those who fix or Reolace things in your home don't you?

I have worked in a hospital since 2001 and I can see the value of such a device. That being said, if you're evacuating from an area on fire or engulfed in smoke, why not just use the bed to wheel the pt to a safe area? Nearly all hospitals use the "defend in place" method of fire/smoke rescue so using a sled is not necessary in the acute floor setting. An ER or a scene setting is an ideal place to use this device though...so there is still some merit to the device.

This is a advertisement to Body Removal Business's and Funeral Homes that do their own removals. To date the one-man adjustable cots are the most popular. Typically removals are performed by one person except coroner and medical examiner removals as well as removals from the place of residence. They require two people. Have been around this business for 40 years and have never seen such a device albeit the hard-board all the emergency services use to slide victims on to their cots. Try removing a body from a catastrophic event and that hard-board would work while you are climbing up a hill or other imaginable car wrecks. farm accidents, all types of everyday circumstances that embalmers and funeral directors deal with. Not all are carved out for this type of a career. I noticed in that video that there was not a price attached or contact info. revealed.
